On May 28, 1975 we had a shooting in our high school. I won't delve into the details... but it was a traumatic experience, and I spent many years (as did my classmates, the first responders, and everyone else involved) simply trying to "process" the meaning of that event. After many years, and many attempts, I wrote this song, "After the Shooting Stops", to say some of what I thought needed to be said, years later. Tragically, there have been so many, many similar events in the years since, each one of which resurrects the feelings and experience of that day. Sometimes it feels like the shooting will never stop. But if this song touches you, feel free to download it. Play it whenever. Life is more than anger...
